No ‘grand deal’ in horizon on Iran nuclear case: Le Monde

The Paris-based Le Monde daily published an article on the P5+1 nuclear talks with Iran saying there is no ‘grand deal’ in the horizon. This time Iran is asked to stop its uranium enrichment, transfer its higher enriched uranium out of the country and close down the Fordow facility.
In return, “without the main structure of the sanctions being altered”, a type of adjustment will be proposed. Thus, there is no indication of a “new initiative” and special diplomatic measure.
The P5+1 is not willing to act based on Iran’s request of recognizing its uranium enrichment. While some European partners prior to this thought the Obama administration would show more flexibility, Washington has been completely firm on this issue.
