INTV, 22 Sep 2013 – Hossein Salami, deputy chief of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on the nuclear dossier there won’t be the slightest bit of retreat.
“The meaning of heroic flexibility is that we will under no circumstances back down from our fundamental national and vital interests. The fundamental rights of the Iranian people [read mullahs’ regime] is not somehting that can be exchanged with any incentive. Pay careful attention, naturally our strategies are fixed, meaning those fundamental frameworks of our behavior that guarantee our national interests, are fixed. Here there is no flexibility, our goals never lessen. For example, the fact that we enjoy having peaceful nuclear energy in the world according to all international standards, this most definitely is nothing we can go back on. There is no flexibility or withdrawal in this regard,” he said.
