Following the firm denial by Egypt’s Oil Minister regarding the Iranian regime’s claims of oil negotiations with Egypt, one state-run daily in Iran wrote with such a firm rejection, there is no need for diplomacy with Egypt.
“The terminology used by Osama Kamal to deny this claim is significant and are very decisive remarks,” wrote Tabnak, the daily affiliated to the mullahs’ Expediency Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaii.
“In fact, one might say clear diplomacy with a government like Egypt is not only unnecessary, in fact it will lead to such dilemmas,” the daily added.
