In an article titled “acid attack on women”, New York Times wrote it seems that this phenomenon is a part of a larger campaign to support this new law which is aimed to punish ’mal-veiled’ women. The acid attack on women in Isfahan has created an atmosphere of fear and horror. This attack on women done basically by motorcycle riders coincides with the adoption of the new law in the Parliament which supports the enforcers of ’Enjoin Virtue and Prohibit Vice’.
