A new case of embezzlement has been discovered in Iran under the mullahs’ rule, valued at over a few trillion rials. This is equivalent to nearly $250 million.
The Fars news agency, affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards, reported the arrest of a high ranking former oil official on charges of involvement in this huge embezzlement case.
“The former oil official of an important company, involved in manufacturing oil products, was arrested shortly after being set aside from his post,” Fars added.
