The French daily Le Figaro on Sunday, Feb. 10 wrote that while many questions remain unanswered about the Iranian nuclear program, soft and compromising approach by the United Nations atomic watchdog chief Mohammad El-Baradei toward Iranian officials raised serious concern of US and French officials. The concern has covered many officials of the IAEA such that it is said that Iran has left so many points and questions about its nuclear program in vagueness, and the inspectors’ job is not complete yet.
Le Figaro added that as an example, Iranian officials have not yet been able to present a convincing evidence for the trace of more than 54% enriched uranium found during last inspections. Whereas according to the IAEA rules the uranium enriched more than 20% is referred as dangerous, and when it gets close to 90% , it is doubtlessly for military purposes. Therefore western governments believe the Iranian nuclear program has not stopped yet.
