Showing its utmost impotence towards the worldwide campaign in defense of Camp Ashraf and its residents, the Iranian regime’s terrorist Revolutionary Guards has resorted to truly ridiculous remarks claiming the PMOI has received 3 million francs from the European Union!
“The PMOI is receiving from the EU 350 francs daily for each person participating in the Geneva sit-in as a political and human rights offensive,” the state-run Fars news agency (affiliated to the IRGC) wired. “Currently, 180 days has passed since this sit-in began and if the PMOI had received this amount of money for only 20 people, the amount accumulates to 1.26 million francs to this day!”
Political analysts describe these ridiculous remarks by the Iranian regime as an attempt by Khamenei to deter attention from the numerous cases of embezzlement and fraud haunting his regime.
