Mohammad Reza Sajadian, member of the Iranian regime’s Industry and Mines Commission in the Majlis (parliament) admitted the country’s industry is collapsing due to unnecessary and uncontrolled imports of cheap Chinese goods.
“Chinese goods have sounded the bell of our industry’s death,” Sajadian explained. “Chinese products lacking any quality at all have become a problem for Iran’s economy and employment, and have caused many economic institutions to be in crisis or even close down all together. If there is no hope in the industries of weaving, shoe-making, home appliances and others, it is due to the ministries’ neglect regarding unnecessary imports.”
