INTV, 20 Oct 2013 – Ali Rabi’i, Iran’s minister of labor in Rouhani’s cabinet, shed light on the crisis of unemployment amongst graduated Iranians.
“The country is facing an unemployment crisis regarding its graduates,” he said.
According to the state-run Mehr news agency, Rabi’i has recently announced that 43% of those seeking jobs in the country are college graduates. In other words, from the approximately 3 million people who are officially announced as unemployed up until February 2013, around 1.3 million are college graduates.
