Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) Security and Foreign Policy Commission chief Aladdin Borujerdi called for the expulsion of the British envoy from Tehran, mullahs’ state-run Network 1 TV reported.
“The UK has been the leader of numerous false human rights violation claims in Iran mentioned in the United Nations and other organizations,” Borujerdi said. “The UK is with all its will preventing us from our right to seek peaceful nuclear technology, leading the path in issuing numerous resolutions in the UN Security Council and has delisted the Monafeqin (term used by the Iranian regime for the PMOI) organization. In such conditions, having normal relations with the UK is completely unacceptable and against our interests. Foreign Minister Mr. Ali Akbar Salehi, expel the UK ambassador.”
