As the Urumia political prisoners ended their 33rd day of hunger strike on Monday, a number of news outlets and internet sites announced that the Urumia Prison authorities under internal and international pressures have promised to accepted the prisoners’ demands. The striking prisoners are demanding the separation of political prisoners from common criminal prisoners. Although the authorities promised to accept their demand, the Kurdish political prisoners are continuing their hunger strike and say they will not end their strike until full compliance from the mullahs regime.
