Mullahs’ appeal rejected by Yemen judiciary

Yemen judiciary denied an appeal filed by the mullahs’ regime in a case involving arms smuggling to this country.
According to a report published by Kuwait’s Al-Seyassah daily, the State Special Appeals Court for Security Cases in Sanaa denied an appeals request filed by the Iranian regime’s embassy on a verdict issued 25 October 2011.
This case involves a ship carrying Iranian weapons confiscated west of Yemen around three years. The initial court ruled 6 Iranian regime elements guilty of illegal import of arms into Yemen. This court ruled for the arrested individuals to be imprisoned and then expelled from the country, and the ship’s cargo and arms consignment seized.
