Egypt’s Mohamed Morsi has been charged with accusations of ‘spying’ and ‘conspiracy for terrorism’. The Egyptian prosecution has charged Morsi along with 35 others of having relations and cooperating with the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guards, Lebanese Hezbollah and Hamas. Morsi could be faced with execution if such charges are proved in court.
Agence France Presse also cited Egyptian police reporting three tourists were killed in a Sinai Desert bus blast. According to informed sources pro-Morsi fundamentalists have increased the scope of violence ever since he was ousted.
