Metal industry workers staged a sit-in protest against not receiving seven months wage in front of their factory in Tehran. Security forces and plain clothes agents surrounded the area in fear of spreading protest.

The workers announced that they would not leave until the factory manager lives up to his promise given 15 days ago, otherwise their wives and children would take part in the protest. The workers threatened that if their demands were not met, they along with their families would gather in front of Ahmadinehjad’s office on Pasteur Street.
