April 20, 2018 – Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI condemned in the strongest terms the brutal assault on a defenseless young girl at the hands of repressive state security forces under the pretext of loose veiling.
In her message, Mrs. Rajavi said; "Insult and savage beating of an ailing young woman, under the pretext of improper veiling, shows one more time the ugly inhumane and anti-Islamic face of the Iranian Mullahs."
"I urge the brave Iranian youth to counter the disgrace imposed upon the Iranian women by the Mullahs' regime, and not to allow their sisters to be brutalized by IRGC members and other regime agents," the president-elect added.
