INTV, 2 Oct 2013 – In yet another sign that Rouhani has no serious decision-making authority in Iran, the Majlis (parliament) ratified a bill imposing even further control on his government.
Majlis members approved a part of a bill increasing the presence of representatives in government apparatuses and councils to supervise the government’s actions, the state-run Mehr news agency reported. The bill passed with 162 votes in favor, one vote against and 10 members abstained, among the 230 members present at the session.
