Lebanon: Former Lebanese PM lashes out against Hezbollah, Iran regime

Former Lebanese Prime Minister, and the chairman of Future Movement of Lebanon, Saad Hariri lashed out against Hezbollah and Iran’s regime blaming them for endangering his country and creating a presidential vacuum, The Daily Star reported on Friday.
In an address from his Downtown Beirut home, Hariri told Arab ambassadors and diplomats that “Lebanon is paying the price of foreign interference in its crises.”
He said Iran’s regime was behind Hezbollah’s boycott of parliamentary sessions to elect a president.
Hariri said Hezbollah’s intervention in Syria has cost Lebanon “hundreds of lives and the wounding of thousands” more.
“It’s not a secret that Hezbollah intervened in Syria, under Iranian orders, to defend Bashar Assad,” he said.
