Ahvaz, March 26, 2016 – Leased drivers who provide services to the Khuzestan Province Labor Department are protesting the fact that one week after the Iranian calendar New Year they have yet to receive their last month’s paycheck or New Year bonuses.
“Last year we had the same problem with the Khuzestan Province Labor Department. They refused to pay a contracting company for five months, and as a result the company was unable to provide the workers’ paychecks,” a protesting worker said.
