Based on news from inside Iran on Friday, July 25th, workers that participated in the so-called Quds rally used the opportunity and chanted anti-government slogans, revealing their anger over Iran economy, high prices and inflation. Repressive police agents threatened the over 200 workers and used force to disperse them.

Incoming reports from this city indicate that on Saturday, July 27th, a number of Islamic Open University students rallied and protested the low food quality in the self-service center during the summer semester. These students had also protested low food quality in previous semesters and officials each time promise to take care of this issue but no measures have ever been taken.

Bus drivers in the Iranian capital went on strike on Saturday, July 26th, protesting low fares and their very low paychecks.

A group of Yazd residents heading to Tehran held a gathering protesting the Iran Diesel Company’s refusal to hand over their trucks after 9 years of hollow promises.

A large number of students of Rudhan Open University rallied on Thursday, July 24th, protesting the location of the new building of this university. The protesting students are saying the new building is right near a mountain and the mountain could suffer landslides at any moment.

A group of Qom Open University transfer students from other cities protested not having dormitory rooms during the summer semester. The protesting students rallied on Saturday, July 26th, and showed their anger on this matter.

A group of Dervish community members held a rally outside the regime’s Majlis (parliament) demanding more freedom to practice their beliefs.

A number of construction workers of Tehran’s 15th district rallied on Saturday, July 26th, protesting not being insured by the Insurance and Social Security Organization. They went to this office in Tehran’s Azadi Avenue and announced their protests, saying those who actually are insured must pay huge amounts of money which is not fit with their very salaries.
