
A group of expelled workers of the Katoosh Road & Tunnel Construction Company in Saghez held a gathering on Sunday, July 13th, outside this company, demanding to return to work. They marched from the factory site to the regime’s governor office in this city and rallied outside the building.
Drivers of the Stratif Road Construction Company in Tehran went on strike for not receiving their salaries for the past 5 months, gathering outside the company office in Tehran. The drivers said they have not received any paychecks since February and they are repeatedly given hollow promises. This strike started on Saturday, July 12th, and continues to this day. This company works under the cover of the Revolutionary Guards and is involved in road and dam construction in the paths leading from Iran to Iraq.
Workers of the Sahand Azar Company in the western Iranian city of Sanandaj protested not receiving their paychecks for the past 5 months. They went on strike on Saturday, July 12th, saying they will not return to work until their paychecks are deposited.
A group of Kulheim Company workers in the city of Saghez in Kurdistan Province rallied on Saturday, July 12th, protesting the expulsion of 50 fellow drivers of heavy vehicles. These workers demanded their colleagues be returned to work. It is worth noting this company is affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards.
The strike started by Tehran bazaar textile retailers continues to this day. They are protesting increasing taxes imposed by the mullahs’ regime and have closed their stores in response.
