With only two days to the upcoming sham elections in Iran, mullahs’ Majlis (parliament) speaker Ali Larijani once again warned on the consequences of escalating fierce internal disputes regarding the elections will be to the detriment of the entire system.
“The main issue is that we must refrain from political quarrels,” Larijani warned. “However, there are actions seen in the political spectrum of the country showing how some people, groups or currents lack any experience, and anyone who supports any current should not taint the image of their rivals… Some are suspicious and are specialists in pumping this way of thought throughout the country. However, we must take this into consideration that some issues cannot be raised in public and must be notified in private… Instigating political disputes is wrong and will damage the whole country.”
