The residents of the city of Saman in this province blocked the road to the Zamankhan Bridge on Saturday, April 12th, and clashed with the regime’s repressive police. The angry people were protesting the lack of adequate rails on the sides of the bridge, which had in one incident caused a child to fall from the bridge to the river below and die. Protesters attacked and clashed with the police in this incident.
Khuzestan:
Supporters of a local soccer club scuffled with repressive police who sought to disrupt celebrations after their team victory. The state police fired tear gas to the youth gathering to prevent them from welcoming their team.
Ghazvin:
A group of Iran Tire Company workers rallied on Wednesday, April 9th, outside a regime office of the so-called “Poor Foundation” protesting the expulsion of their colleagues. According to incoming reports regime officials have expelled 300 workers during the past 3 months from this organ.
Khoramshahr:
Workers of the city’s soap factory staged a gathering outside the company protesting not receiving their paychecks for the past 22 months.
Lushan:
A group of people protested on Sunday, April 13th, while gathering to sign up for the second phase of the regime’s subsidy elimination plan. Registration problems and signs of the regime’s officials resorting to embezzlement led to this protest rally.
Isfahan:
Youths gathered outside the regime’s municipality office in the town of Iman Shahr near Isfahan, protesting not having any sport facilities.
