Workers in the Ahwaz Pipeline Factory staged a protest in front of the governorate building for the eight consecutive day. They iterated on continuing their protests until their demands are met.
According to reports received from Tehran, Pars automotive factory gathered in protest on Sunday for the fifth consecutive day for a 5-month delay in their pay. This gathering took place at the factory in Tehranpars district. Protestors prevented the entry of factory’s manager and demanded his resignation.
Also reports from Iranshahr tell of protests by textile workers of Baluch Baft factory on Sunday, October 16. They protested that the retirement law is not being implemented. The gathering took place in front of the office of town’s representative in the parliament.
