The mullahs’ supreme leader Ali Khamenei in his latest remarks once again stressed on the intention of his regime in obtaining nuclear weapons.
“Western officials have repeated time and again that the objective of the sanctions and pressures… is to force the regime’s officials to think twice in their calculations,” Khamenei said. “But they are mistaken and they will not reach their goal.”
Khamenei also revealed his concern regarding the lack of participation by voters in the upcoming sham Majlis (parliament) elections.
“From long ago, widespread efforts have been focused on tainting the people’s presence in the forthcoming Majlis elections,” he added with concern.
