Mullah Saeedi, Khamenei’s main man in the Revolutionary Guards, described Syria as the mullahs’ main border.
“The spokesman of a party asks why are we in Syria? The reason is that Syria is our border because today our border is not Shalamche or Mehran. Instead our border is the Mediterranean coast,” he said.
