Rahim Safavi, former Revolutionary Guards chief and current military advisor to Khamenei, again emphasized on the Iranian regime’s policy of exporting fundamentalism, terrorism and meddling in neighboring countries.
“One of the results of the leadership’s way of thought is the defense depth of defending the revolution is far beyond Iran’s borders and increasing the deterring power against threats from the US and Zionists,” he said in a gathering of IRGC members.
Safavi went on to challenge Islamic countries in saying, “We must seek the West, Arabic and Zionist regime’s strategic defeat in the current developments of Western Asia and specifically Syria, Lebanon and Iraq lie in the ideas of the leadership.
