US Secretary of State, John Kerry is condemning the Chlorine Gas attack by the Assad regime. Kerry is now calling for an investigation in to it.
The attack is said to have happened in the Syrian Town of Sarmin on Monday. A group monitoring Syrian war says 6 civilians were killed and dozens were injured.
Last year Syria agreed to turn over its chemical weapons’ stock pile as part of the UN Security Council agreement. Chlorine was not prohibited, because it has commercial uses. The United Nations says more than 200,000 people have been killed in the brutal civil war in Syria. Many have fled their home and for those who remain in their home, every day is a struggle.
