Gholamali Rezaii, head of the Ardebil Province Judiciary (NW Iran) defended capital punishment under the mullahs’ regime saying, “Issuing and implementing execution verdicts is an honor for the Islamic Republic.”
Before such remarks, Rezaii had informed of 40 death sentences being issued in this province alone saying a number of these verdicts have passed the necessary legal procedures and will soon be implemented.
