Iraq’s Badr Corps, affiliated to the Iranian regime’s terrorist designated Revolutionary Guards, has called for the establishment of a military unit to prevent the overthrow of Bashar Assad’s dictatorship in Syria.
Al Jazeera TV reported Sheikh Hassan al-Rashed, a Badr official in the city of Basra in southern Iraq, calling for the establishment of an army by elements of the Badr Organization, Mehdi Army and armed individuals affiliated to political factions. He said the mission of such an army would be to prevent the Syrian government’s downfall.
