Iraqiya Coalition leader and former Iraqi premier Ayad Allawi said the developments taking place in Iraq are the measures of a coupe d’état, al-Rafidain TV reported.
Allawi reiterated the US has handed Iraq over to the Iranian regime, further adding the allegations raised against political figures in the Iraqiya bloc are void and the objective behind these measures is to lead the political trends to a failure.
Allawi stressed the Iranian regime is behind the decisions being made aimed at setting aside his political allies.
