Diyala tribes in Iraq issued a statement condemning the Iranian regime’s measures of cutting off Alvand River as a pre-planned crime aimed at forcing the Iraqi people suffer, al-Sharqiya TV reported.
“We are not waiting for a political solution with the Iranian regime. Rather we seek a clear stance defending the interests of Iraq and its people,” this statement read in reference to the silence of Maliki’s government towards this crime.
