According to the state-run Mehr News Agency, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Ali Larijani and Sadeq Amoli Larijani – heads of the Administrative, Legislative and Judicial branches – held a special meeting after a session of the Assembly of Expedient Discretion to discuss methods of countering sanctions and the latest situation of the country’s economy with respect to the sanctions implemented by the regime’s enemies.
“In this session of the Assembly of Expedient Discretion, due to the importance and urgency of the current situation, examining issues relating to economic pressures was placed on top of the agenda and with the presence of the President along with the Ministers of Economy and Treasury, Oil and Industry, Mines and Trade and the Head of the Central Bank, economic issues and methods of neutralizing the enforced economic pressures were discussed”, the MOIS affiliated news agency wrote.
“People are dealing with many economic problems and are caught-up in their minimum everyday life necessities”.
