Iran’s first sham election debate has kicked off in Tehran

The first of the Three debates in the Iranian sham elections has kicked off in Tehran between the 6 validated candidates.
Mostafa Mirsalim, one of the presidential hopefuls brought up the tragic issue of thousands of homeless people living in the country by saying “homelessness has resulted in many economic, social and security problems in the country. In the province of Sistan and Balouchistan, Southeastern part of the country, a large number of people have been forced to leave their home and cities. These people who now live in the outskirts of the city are lacking sanitation, security, medical care and education. Instead the only thing that is growing in these areas, is addiction.
Hashemi Taba, another candidate said: Iran is suffering from the environmental crisis.
Incumbent president Hassan Rouhani admitted that the homelessness is one the country’s deepest social crisis and is due to unemployment.
