Students at Semnan University, western Iran joined their voiced to the protesters against acid attackers on women and girls. During a speech by a government official at the university, the students chanted “death to acid attackers” and “security and freedom are the rights of Iranian women”.
Students had planned to take placards with them into the auditorium, but were stopped by the university security. In response, the students disrupted the speech by continuous chanting.
