
Fearing the ’Feast of Fire’ ceremony would turn in to another protest by disillusioned youth in Iran, the mullahs’ regime has ordered crackdown on shops selling fire crackers.
In a widespread raid at noon Tuesday, many shops selling fire crackers in and around Tehran Bazar area were raided by the City officials and State Security Forces, SSF, collecting their fire cracker stocks and slapping hefty fines on them.
Some of vendors could escape this raid blending in to the crowd of people who had gathered actually to protest this unjust raid. But the SSF were able to arrest two vendors and taking them away. In trying to follow and chase other shop owners or vendors, the SSF was against an angry crowd who were chanting anti-government slogans and booing them. They finally had to flee the area. People believe that the government is fearing the ’Feast of Fire’ ceremonies would turn in to another anti-government uprisings, so they have started a month in advance to eradicate any signs of such threat.
