Iranian regime prevents Sunni minorities to hold Friday prayers

Iranian regime on Friday Jan. 9 dispatched security forces to a suburb of the Capital Tehran to close all entrances to the road leading to a Sunni Mosque in Poonak suburb of Tehran. The move was aimed at preventing worshipers from observing the Friday prayer ceremony.
A mosque custodian said: “We were contacted by the security forces and were told that we can’t have our Friday prayer ceremony this week.”
This action against the Sunni population in Iran is at a time when the mullahs’ regime claims to have a conference of religious tolerance and a unity conference.
