The Iranian regime is preparing to confront any scenario in which the country’s security status reaches an exploding point, catapulting the situation to an uncontrollable point, Aswat al-Iraq website reported on Wednesday.
This website added Tehran had not considered such scenarios up to this point, especially following the 2009 uprising where the Iranian regime was in a very low status in public opinion around the world. Fearing the Iranian people’s revolution exploding, the mullahs dispatched their paramilitary Bassij forces as the so-called “Imam Ali” battalions into various cities under the pretext of performing maneuvers to confront protest gatherings in cities across the country.
