Iranian regime issues inhumane sentencing of hand amputation for 4 prisoners in Isfahan

The Iranian regime’s public prosecutor in Isfahan Province Mohammad Reza Habibi announced four prisoners convicted of theft will have their hands amputated, the mullahs’ state-run ILNA news agency reported on Monday.
Habibi said these individuals were convicted of stealing livestock and illegal entry into people’s homes and stealing their belongings.
Article 201 of the Iranian regime’s so-called Islamic penal code states:
a. On first felony of theft, four fingers of the right hand of the thief will be amputated in a way that his thumb and palm remains.
b. On the second felony, half of the thief’s left foot will be amputated from below the ankle.
c. On third felony, the thief will receive life in jail.
d. On fourth felony, the thief will be executed even if theft occurred in jail.
