State run Asr-e Iran, May 24, 2012 – Mahmoud Ahmadinejad invited Bashar al-Assad to participate in Non-Aligned Movement’s head of states’ meeting. This would be Assad’s first trip to a country in the region in the recent year, while the Arab states has pressured Syria by suspension its membership in this movement.
Observers believe many member heads of states of Non-Aligned Movement will refrain to participate in this meeting that will be held this August, especially that its host is a dictator and a notorious dictator will be its guest.
