Iraqi MP Ahmad al-Massari from the Iraqiya Coalition called for the expulsion of the Iranian regime’s ambassador from Iraq.
“The Iranian regime does not agree with states being established in Iraq and this is a case of flagrant intervention in Iraq’s internal affairs and we firmly reject these meddling,” al-Massar said. “We call on the Iraqi government to have a decisive stance against this obvious intervention and take measures to expel the Iranian regime’s envoy from Iraq. This measure is merely the minimum action the government must take on this issue.”
