Iraqi MP Talal al-Zobaie from the Iraqiya Coalition said the Iranian regime is behind the recent explosions in Iraq.
‘We point our fingers at the Iranian regime for the meddling and infiltrations that have taken place and due to the large role it has in Iraq,’ al-Zobaie said in an interview with Al Jazeera TV. ‘Hundreds of magnetic bombs and hundreds of magnetic IEDs are being found that are built in Iran and this is a clear indication of the Iranian regime’s hand in the murder of the Iraqi people, creating millions of widows and orphans due to this flagrant meddling.’
On Maliki’s role in these explosions this Iraqi MP said, ‘Of course, this is negligence of the security forces. The ministries of Defense, Interior, Intelligence, National Security and many other security organs are under Maliki’s control. This in itself is a violation of the constitution.’
