In a statement on the occasion of 19th anniversary of 1988 massacre of 30,000 political prisoners by the anti-human mullahs’ regime, a number of political prisoners in all prisons of the country condemned it and asked for trial of orderers and executors of this atrocity.

This statement reads: “In 1988, the mullahs’ regime’s executioners took these nation’s champions from their cells in Evin, Gouhardasht, and other prisons to the execution sites and executed them.”

The statement added: “We, the political prisoners of Gouhardasht-Karaj, Evin, Urumiyeh, Isfahan, Birjand, Kermanshh and Ahvaz prisons ask for formation of a committee for identification and prosecution of orderers and executors of this horrible atrocity.”
