While there remains about a month to Iran’s annual ‘Fire Festival’ – celebrated on the eve of the last Wednesday of the year – Radan, deputy police chief of the Iranian regime, in recent remarks revealed the regime’s fear of this event.
“We have decided to have people spend this night in their own neighborhoods and not block squares and highways… With all the coordination made with the public prosecutor, all individuals entering main roads and causing trouble will have their vehicles confiscated, and they will be the police’s guests until the end of the New Year’s holidays,” he said.
