INTV, 27 Oct 2013 – Hamid Rassaei, member of Iran’s Majlis (parliament), protested the removal of anti-American posters in Tehran.
“If the respected government is right now optimistic about the rulers in America, the Majlis is not. Last week a very good and revolutionary speech was delivered in the Majlis, and the MPs chanted ‘Death to America’ along with your speech… Why are a few number of people seeking to erase this 34-year long pride?” he said.
“This advertisement around the city [Tehran], as the American honesty, was a good thing… Before marking our annual Students Day on November 4th the government must carry out its duties and not get in the way of the people,” Rassaei added.
