NCRI – The Saudi police is holding an Iranian cleric in city of Medina for making provoking remarks. It is more than two weeks that he has not been allowed to leave Saudi Arabia.
Cleric Ali A’arefi is a Friday Prayer Imam in the Iranian city of Jiroft, in southern province of Kerman.
Despite efforts by the Iranian regime officials, the Saudi authorities have refused to allow him to leave Saudi Arabia.
The state-run media reporting on his arrest said he was arrested in a cemetery in Medina where he made an ’important speech’ making remarks on the subject of so called ’realities’.
Medina, in western Saudi Arabia, is the burial place of the Moslem religious Prophet Mohammad, and is the second holiest city in Islam after Mecca.
