Iranian Banks to Face Trade Standstill outside Iran

The Iranians’ Trading Council in Dubai announced that the new decision by the United States against IRGC and the Iranian regime’s banks had produced serious problems for these banks in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

A member of directorate of this council RashidZadeh said: the United Nations’ sanctions on Iran was restricted to the Sepah bank which has no branch in the UAE. But now branches of other Iranian Banks outside Iran are subject to restrictions and pressures from International banks system, especially the US and EU banks. At the present time the branches of Saderat Bank in the UAE are subject to complete sanctions and nearly there is no exchange and relation between this bank and other banks of the world.

Regarding recent U.S. sanctions on Iranian banks he added: these sanctions will cause problems for Iranian and foreign businessmen in opening credits and in sending goods to Iran.
