Iran: Youths attack Bassij base in Tehran + other reports of protests

A group of youths in Tehran attacked a Bassij paramilitary police base in District 7 of the Iranian capital at 4 pm on Tuesday, August 12th, breaking all its glasses and windows. The youths were shouting at the Bassij members saying what are you afraid of, why aren’t you coming out? After the youths left the area the Bassij agents finally dared to come out and start cleaning up the broken glasses.


Shiraz
According to reports received on Iran protest in this city, on Tuesday, August 12th, a group of Shiraz locals clashed with the police and protested the installation of a BTC tower used to transmit jamming signals. The police responded by using pepper spray and batons in order to disperse the crowd. However, the people resisted and started throwing stones and breaking the windows of the adjacent building.



Isfahan
A group of youths in this city rallied outside the communications department and protested the disconnection of Internet lines in various hours of the day and night. Regime agents rushed to the scene and clashed with the youths.


Khoramabad
Two girls clashed with female Bassij paramilitary police agents on Sunday, August 10th, when the female Bassij members were harassing the girls under the mullah-fabricated pretext of improper hijab. The girls resisted and those witnessing the scene rushed to their support and they were able to flee the area with their help.
