The municipality’s oppressive agents with help of police raided venders in Enghelab square region of Tehran on Saturday with the aim of confiscating their assets and livelihood. But the people and youth present at the scene came to the aid of vendors and clashed with the police and municipality agents to get back their belongings. One of the vendors who was selling books and couldn’t leave the scene hastily due the heaviness of his load, lost his balance and fell down while an agent started to kick and beat him. Other youth rushed to the aid of this poor man and stood between the agents and the vendor. The agent fell back and gave room for the vendor to flee with his books. Then the failed agent tried to react and arrest the youth, but found out a large number of youth coming towards him, so he decided that the latter is too high for him to clime and preferred to flee before being ruffed up the crowd.
