Iran, Tehran, March 16, 2018 – Despite the new Iranian calendar year being less than a week away, minimum wage levels for workers are still not set for the upcoming year. Some informed sources believe that delaying the announcement of New Year bonuses and minimum wage is not without reason.
Since the regime knows that announcing the new minimum wage will be followed by the workers’ anger and protests, it purposefully delays it until the New Year eve celebrations to eliminate any possible reaction on the part of the workers.
But regarding what the regime will be announcing as minimum wage, it is certain that it will be farther away from a realistic minimum wage and even the line of poverty than ever, and there are numerous signs that indicate this.
