The cities of Andimeshk and Port Khomeini were scenes of labor rallies on Thursday, March 17th.

Andimeshk – Fed up workers and laborers, angry as their paychecks have not been paid for 12 months, rallied outside the Andimeshk municipality demanding their requests be addressed before the Iranian calendar New Year. It is worth noting that a number of workers are complaining that their paychecks have been delayed many times in the past few years.

Port Khomeini – A group of municipality contractors rallied on Thursday, protesting it has been two years since they have been working for this entity yet their demands have not been addressed.
